Simple Steps to Remove Belly Fat

Has belly fat become a problem for you? No matter what you seem to do the belly fat seems to stay. You are confused by all of the infomercials on TV that tell you that your only problem is stress or they promise that all you need to take is one simple miracle pill and the bell fat will melt away. Have you been duped by the idiotic commercials that indicate that all you need to do is simply buy the latest ab exercise product on the market?

Belly fat is not attractive but even worse than that is that belly fat is not healthy. I am not telling you something that you don't already know. It feels like you have tried every possible way to lose the fat but nothing is working. But let's be honest. You haven't quite done everything, in fact, you have done what is necessary to lose the belly fat. Let's look at the truth of how you get rid of this disgusting problem.

You Won't Lose Belly Fat With Gimmicks and Fad Diets

Look, you are never going to lose belly fat by doing endless crunches every day. You may get stronger stomach muscles but it will not to much to help you burn fat. The reality is that you cannot spot reduce fat. So you can stop chasing and purchasing the ridiculous ab machines that are advertised on TV. You know they will end up in your closet taking up space.

Stop looking for the magic pill or the “one diet” that is going to make everything better for you. You are wasting your time and your money. In fact, these fad diets can do more to impede your ability to burn belly fat than they will ever do to help you. Before you can start doing what is going to show you results you need to stop chasing fantasies and easy fixes that don't require effort on your part.

Losing Belly Fat Takes Discipline

Losing fat is really not that difficult but it will take effort and discipline on your part. If you will follow the following steps then you will begin to see results. Fat loss is the result of consistent effort on your part over an extended period of time. Please don't think that all of your fat is going to be gone in one or two months. Stop seeking the “quick fix” and start doing the things that work. Fat loss will take several weeks if not several months depending on the severity of you belly fat problem.

Clean Out Your System

So let's get started. The first thing that you need to do is to clean out your body. The average body is loaded down with toxins and other impurities. Your body will respond much better after these things are gone. So you need to clean up your intestinal track. You can buy a good colon cleanser on the market but along with that I would recommend starting your fat loss efforts with a day of fasting.

Change What You Eat

The second step and the most important step is that you need to change the way that you eat. This is your real problem. You cannot continue to eat in the same fashion that you have been and expect to lose fat. It will not work. Eat smaller meals with more veggies. Stay away from foods high in carbohydrates. Focus on getting enough protein.

Drink More Water

The third thing that you can do is to drink more water. Now I don't believe that water is the magic fix. I don't think that you need to drink more than a gallon each day. But water does accomplish a couple of things. First, it helps flush toxins out of our system and secondly (and more importantly) it helps give us a feeling of fullness. And the fuller you feel the less you will eat.

Exercise, Exercise, Exercise

Exercise the fat off. You will need to burn more calories than you take in if you want to burn belly fat. If you perform high intensity interval cardio at least 3 times per week it will go a long way toward reaching your fat loss goals. Without going into that science behind, it has been proven that interval training will burn calories at a higher rate than low intensity cardio (jogging, stepper, elliptical, etc).

Lift Weights

The last thing that you need to do if you want to get rid of the excess fat around your belly is to perform weight training. The only part of your body that will burn fat is muscle. The more muscle you have the higher your metabolism will be and the faster you will burn fat. Begin a weight training program and stick to it like glue. You will see your body transform before you when you do.
